The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California is pleased to announce that Andrew Isamu Kent and Tomiko Wong were awarded with 2003 JCCNC Scholarships.
On August 12th, Masaki Miki, Chairman of the Community Alliance Committee, congratulated the students and awarded them each $2,000.
Andrew Isamu Kent, who graduated from Vacaville High School in Vacaville, will be attending California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo to study Architecture/Construction Management.
Tomiko Wong, who graduated from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, will be attending Syracuse University in New York to study Speech Communication.
