 Organization |
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California (JCCNC) is a California nonprofit corporation. JCCNC was established in 1951 to promote business between Japan and the United States, and to foster understanding and friendship among our members. JCCNC is organized to offer help and service for its members in the business community, and to assist in their business practices between Japan and the United States. All JCCNC members participate in and enjoy a variety of programs and committees established to promote cooperation and good will between the people of Japan and the United States. |

| Membership |
JCCNC currently has nearly 300 members, including most of the businesses in Northern California with Japanese affiliations. Our members come from every sector of the business community, including manufacturing, banking and financial services, transportation and trading. |

|
| Management |
Elected representatives of JCCNC member companies serve one year terms (March - February) as JCCNC Directors and Officers. JCCNC officers include: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, and Auditor. In addition, JCCNC has a full time staff headed by its Executive Director. The JCCNC Board of Directors and its Executive committee (comprised of officers and committee chairpersons) meet several times each year. |
