登壇者プロフィール Moderator

He currently serves as CEO of Saison Technology International, Inc. (formerly HULFT, Inc.). In July 2024, he also took on the role of Venture Partner at DNX Ventures. Previously, Masa oversaw business development and incubation at Trend Micro. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including at Saison Technology, the parent company of Saison Technology International, Inc., he has an extensive track record of driving innovation and strategic growth. After graduating from Keio University, Masa earned an MBA from Business Breakthrough Business School and later completed the LEAD program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.


Speakers

In 1999, joined a staffing agency and gained experience in sales and career consulting. Moved to the United States in 2005 and worked on business development in the IT media and semiconductor trading sectors. In 2009, joined Pasona NA, Inc., where he provided talent acquisition and HR support to Japanese companies in the U.S. as the West Coast Business Development Director. Later returned to Japan and launched the International Business Development Department. In 2018, joined AI startup ExaWizards, contributing to HR tech and innovation initiatives. In 2020, became independent as the founder of KOME Global, focusing on talent development and entrepreneurship training. In 2023, established CREATRY, Inc. in Silicon Valley, providing organizational development and HR support.




After obtaining an MBA in 2006, Kenji joined Pasona N A, Inc. (PNA), a US subsidiary of Pasona Group. He started his career in NY and managed the east coast region which provides recruiting services, but he also helped develop accounting and payroll outsourcing services for Japanese companies in the US. 


He became the President and COO in 2013 and continues to serve in this position. In this capacity he has continued providing comprehensive and prompt support and guidance for PNA’s global human resources strategy. He directs the activities of PNA’s 10 branch offices which serve its customers here in North America. In addition to providing HR outsourcing services, PNA also holds seminars covering various topics based on the latest trends in the US market. Moreover, as a contribution to the local community, PNA is actively holding networking meetings for Japanese companies and providing basic information to companies that have entered the market.

He is an executive coach, and continues advising CEOs and scaling teams for startups in growth mode funded by top global VCs.Michael speaks Chinese and Japanese, and has lived in Asia for over 2 decades (with a stint in San Francisco for 7 years).

He also loves to host BBQ parties at home.

Provides HR, labor management, and insurance support to over 500 Japanese companies across the U.S., spanning industries such as food service, manufacturing, and entertainment.Regularly shares updates on the ever-changing landscape of U.S. labor laws and works closely with clients to address daily challenges and find practical solutions.
